Custom made products
We carry out a large variety of tasks and we have developed our business through the past 10 years from only offering elastic and ribbon in meters to offering ready-made products. An example can be a strap where we cut elastic and velcro to a specified length, weld Velcro on and pack in the customer’s packaging.
Logo elastic
You can have the logo of your company or any logo printed on or woven in our products.
Silicone coating
Applying silicone on a ribbon is an effective way to make the ribbon slip resistant; this can for example be in cycling shorts or bandages. The silicone can be applied in many different patterns depending on the purpose.
Dyeing
Dyeing of textiles can be a difficult process. We have many years experience with dyeing and in our continuous dyeing facility we are very flexible and can therefore hit your specific needs.
Printing
Using our rotation printing facility we can apply your personal print in up to two colours on most of our products.
After treatment
Many articles must comply with requirements relative to shrinkage after washing or the ribbon has to obtain a certain degree of stiffness. Others again need adding flame retardant qualities. We have full control of all these processes in our own finishing facilities.
Cut & Sew
Using hot melting, cold cutting, and ultrasound cutting, we adjust our ribbon to just the sizes which you wish. We can also sew elastic to finished rings for e.g. production of briefs or tights in order to facilitate your further process.
Slicing
We slice fabric to narrow tapes in widths according to your request. Furthermore we slice rolls of fabric, rubber, leather etc. If you require that the item is bias folded before slicing we also offer this. Also we can fold bias binding in more varieties according to request.
ELAS DK
ELAS A/S’ factory and head office are situated in Herning. Here the running meters of woven, crocheted, and braided elastic, laces and rigid tapes are developed and produced.
ELAS BALTIC
The subsidiary SIA ELAS Baltic is situated in Latvia. Here we process the running meters further. It will typically be sewing, ultrasonic welding, and packing operations.
